Dropshipping

Dropshipping is a retail fulfillment method where the retailer doesn't keep goods in stock. Instead, when a customer places an order, the retailer purchases the item from a third party and has it shipped directly to the customer.

In a nutshell, dropshipping is a process where you don’t need to store inventory in your own warehouse or store room. You simply add products to your online store and then wait for someone to buy them. When they do, you buy the product from your supplier and have it shipped directly to the customer.

The main benefit of dropshipping is that it allows you to start selling immediately without having any upfront costs such as inventory, warehousing, or shipping logistics management system set up. You only pay for what you sell and are not responsible for storing physical goods or shipping them out yourself.
