If you’re closely monitoring privacy regulations, you know how thick and fast the landscape is evolving.

2023 was a breakneck year for data privacy with the rollout of Quebec Law 25, the announcement of advertising restrictions on Google Ads products, the EU’s AI regulatory guidelines, and the phasing out of third-party cookies on Chrome.

To help our customers solve these challenges and meet their data privacy requirements, we’ve rolled out a range of new updates to our product so you can focus on what matters most for your business.

Google CMP Certification

A Google product update in early 2023 stated that publishers and developers using Google AdSense, Ad Manager, or AdMob in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK must integrate with a Google-certified Consent Management Platform from January 2024 onwards.

We’ve worked hard these past few months to bring our consent management solution in line with IAB Europe’s Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF), and we’re now an official Google CMP-certified partner as of January 9th, 2024.

Publishers integrated with Enzuzo can freely run Google AdSense, Ad Manager, or AdMob in the EU without any concerns. Our blog on installing and implementing Google CMP for your business is worth a read.

Native Webflow App

Enzuzo has had a native Shopify integration since 2019, and one of our most requested features was to extend our capabilities into Webflow.

Many marketing agencies now handle multiple client domains inside Webflow and the platform is one of the fastest growing website builders.

To that effect, Enzuzo’s dedicated Webflow application is now live on the Webflow app marketplace, offering a clean, lightweight privacy experience for the 200,000+ site owners who build on the platform.

New Enterprise Capabilities

We’re committed to serving businesses as they scale, and their data privacy needs become more complex.

We’ve had many inbound requests to introduce data mapping, data governance, and custom compliance dashboards to our product — especially from organizations looking to migrate to Enzuzo from pricier tools.

A brand new set of features in our Enterprise plan aims to cater to mid-market companies and above; those with customers across different geographies and jurisdictions.

Our work with Lucy Group — an international electric company with over 1,600 people across 5 continents and 12 countries, is a testament to our ability to serve the needs of a global clientele.

Enzuzo’s enterprise capabilities include:

  • Unlimited Domains
  • Cross domain consent grouping (multiple groups)
  • Data mapping, data categorization, and data governance
  • DSAR Automation
  • Vendory Risk Asssessment
  • Privacy Impact Assessment
  • Custom Compliance Dashboards

Major Enhancements to our Cookie Consent Solution

If there’s one prediction I’ll make about the privacy landscape in 2024 and beyond, it’s that consent management will be front and center of all discussions.

We’ve already seen how Quebec Law 25 significantly emphasizes effective consent management. Law 25 is widely considered to be North America’s strictest data privacy law, and I expect a similar level of scrutiny as U.S. states roll out improvements to their existing legislation.

Enzuzo continues to invest significant resources for our consent management product to stay one step ahead of legislative requirements and keep our customers on the right side of the law.

Updates to our consent management features include:

  • Updated cookie consent dashboard
  • Auto generated cookie policy (Part of Privacy Policy)
  • Additional regional geo-targeting customizations
  • Improved cookie blocking, I-frame and object blocking and cookie categorization
  • Improved subdomain consent
  • Cross domain consent
  • Additional consent analytics reports
  • Improved consent logs
  • Revisit consent icon
