Third-Party Software

Third-party software is a program that is not developed by the company that sells the product or service. It can be a separate program, or it can be an add-on to the main program.

The most common types of third-party software are:

Software as a Service (SaaS): This type of software is typically used by businesses that have employees who work remotely. The employee uses the software while they are connected to the internet and can communicate with other people who are also using the same application. SaaS applications include Google Apps, Dropbox and Salesforce.

Mobile apps: There are many different types of mobile apps, including games, social media apps, productivity apps and more. Mobile apps allow users to access information from their phones or tablets wherever they go!

Cloud storage: Cloud storage allows users to store files in one place so that they can be accessed from anywhere on any device with an internet connection. Cloud storage is convenient because users do not need to constantly move files from one computer to another, which saves time and effort!
