Surveillance Collection is the collection of information about individuals and organizations to be used for government purposes. The term is also commonly used in private industry to describe the collection of personal and business data for marketing purposes.

Surveillance Collection has been a part of human history since ancient times. In modern times, surveillance has become more advanced with technology such as closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras and GPS tracking devices.

In the past decade, many people have begun to question the legality or privacy concerns surrounding Surveillance Collection. Because of this concern, there are many laws in place that regulate how much information can be collected on an individual or group.
