Alt Text

Alt text, or alternative text, is the descriptive text that you can see when you hover over an image. Alt text is used to describe an image so that people who use screen readers can understand what is in an image.

Alt text should be short and concise (no more than 150 characters). It should also include keywords that describe the image, as well as any relevant information such as the name of the file format or dimensions.

It’s important to include alt text because it allows search engines to understand and index images for search results. If you don’t include alt text, search engines can’t understand your images and will display a broken image icon instead of an image in search results.
