Product Update: Compliance Checklist + Updated Policies for 2023

We’ve launched some exciting changes to help you maintain privacy compliance for 2023.

Compliance Checklist

If you’re confused about what features you need to make your website compliant with the latest privacy laws introduced in 2023, then look no further.

The checklist is free to use, although some of the features recommended may require a paid plan.

Privacy Policy and Terms of Service 2.0

Starting in January 2023, new privacy legislation went into effect. Depending on where your business operates, you’ll likely need to update your Privacy Policy and Terms of Service to cover these new laws.

We’ve updated our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy templates to reflect new privacy laws like CPRA (California Privacy Rights Act) and VCDPA (Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act) that take effect this month and throughout 2023.

How do I update my policies, and what’s changed?

a) Terms of Service 2.0 - Product Update

If you are an existing customer and you are using our hosted Terms of Service on your website, simply accept the new Terms of Service, and your terms will automatically be updated to the new version.

b) Privacy Policy 2.0 - Product Update

If you are an existing customer and you are using our hosted Privacy Policy on your website, your privacy policy will automatically be updated to the new version. However, there are some new questions that you’ll need to fill out in your policy questionnaire!
