Re-identification

Osman Husain Apr 9, 2023 3:18:00 PM

Re-identification is the process of identifying a person from one set of data that has been de-identified. The data may have been collected from multiple sources by different entities and there is no way to link this information back to a single individual.

Re-identification can be done with a variety of methods, including statistical analysis of demographic trends, network analysis, geographic profiling, or simply knowing too much about someone.
