The Consent Management Platform Built for Legal Teams
Reduce litigation risk, automate compliance across jurisdictions, and give your team defensible proof of consent for every visitor on every domain.
Why Legal Teams Choose Enzuzo
Enzuzo generates timestamped, exportable consent logs that hold up under regulatory scrutiny and outside counsel review.
Enzuzo applies the correct consent logic based on visitor location so your team does not have to manually track regulatory changes across GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, state privacy laws, LGPD, PIPEDA, and ePrivacy.
Our compliance scanner identifies rogue trackers, misconfigured scripts, and dark pattern risks before they become demand letters or regulatory complaints.
Route, track, and close Data Subject Access Requests inside one system instead of managing them through shared inboxes and spreadsheets.
Legal and compliance teams get what they need without requiring engineering support.

FAQ
Common Questions From Legal Teams
Can Enzuzo provide consent proof if we receive a demand letter?
Yes. Enzuzo stores timestamped consent logs including the visitor's IP address, consent state (accepted, rejected, dismissed, or ignored), and the jurisdiction rules that were applied. If a CIPA or CCPA claim arrives, you can pull the record for that specific session within minutes. We also advise legal teams to demand technical proof from claimants: many demand letters lack specifics like IP addresses or evidence of actual non-compliance. Having your own consent logs lets you challenge weak claims rather than defaulting to settlement.
Which privacy laws does Enzuzo cover, and how does geofencing work?
Enzuzo supports GDPR, ePrivacy, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, PIPEDA, US state-specific laws (California, Florida, Texas, and others as they take effect), and IAB TCF v2.3 for publisher ad consent. Geofencing applies the correct consent rules automatically based on the visitor's IP location. A visitor in California sees a strict opt-in banner. A visitor in a state without an opt-in law sees a lighter opt-out notice.
What's the difference between opt-in and opt-out consent, and which do we need?
This is the single most common legal question we're asked. Opt-in blocks all non-essential cookies until the visitor explicitly consents. Opt-out allows cookies to fire on page load, but gives the visitor a mechanism to decline. California and the EU require opt-in. Most other US states currently accept opt-out.
Enzuzo lets you run both models simultaneously through geofencing so you don't apply stricter rules where they're not legally required, which protects both compliance and marketing data visibility.
Does Enzuzo provide legal advice?
No. Enzuzo provides technical compliance infrastructure and managed deployment support.
Our in-house team are experts in audit readiness and technical rollout, not legal opinions.
Some vendors bundle legal consulting, but Enzuzo flags risk, generates consent evidence, and maintains your configuration. Your external counsel interprets demand letters and makes legal decisions.
We act as an extension of your privacy counsel layer, not as a replacement.
What if non-essential scripts are firing before consent is given?
This is the core technical problem that creates legal exposure. On multiple calls, prospects discovered that marketing scripts (Microsoft UET, Google Ads, Yotpo, Omnisend, Meta Pixel) were writing cookies before visitors had a chance to consent.
This happens because of script load order in GTM or hard-coded tags in site themes.
Enzuzo's consent gating blocks non-essential scripts until valid consent is recorded. The compliance scanner also detects scripts firing outside consent rules after deployment, so new tags added by marketing or agencies don't silently re-introduce the problem.
How does DSAR handling work?
Enzuzo provides intake forms for Data Subject Access Requests with deadline tracking and status management. For companies with low DSAR volume, manual processing through the dashboard is sufficient. For higher volume, automation is available at enterprise tiers.
One important distinction: anonymous data compliance (cookie consent) and personal data compliance (DSARs/deletion requests) are separate workstreams. Many companies need cookie consent urgently but can phase in DSAR automation later. Enzuzo supports both but does not require you to purchase both at once.
Who is liable when we manage websites on behalf of clients?
For companies operating as platform providers or agencies, Enzuzo supports centralized consent deployment across all managed sites with per-client instance separation.
This lets the platform provider maintain compliance infrastructure while individual clients remain responsible for their specific legal obligations.
What evidence of consent do we get for auditors and outside counsel?
Enzuzo provides exportable consent logs with timestamps and IP-based jurisdiction data, compliance scan results showing which cookies and scripts are firing across each domain, and a compliance health score dashboard.
Everything is exportable for board presentations, outside counsel review, or regulatory response.
What happens when a new privacy law passes?
Enzuzo updates geofencing rules when new regulations take effect. Your team is notified of changes but nothing is auto-implemented without review.
New updates come with a 3-6 month grace period to allow business adjustment, and notifications arrive via email or Slack. This matters because legal teams need time to review implications before changing consent behavior, especially when new state laws affect marketing data collection.
Can Enzuzo generate our privacy policy and cookie policy?
Yes. Enzuzo generates both policies through a questionnaire-based workflow. These policies align with your consent banner configuration and support legal defensibility.
Enzuzo connects policy language to actual technical enforcement, so your privacy policy accurately reflects what your site does.
