How to use Enzuzo Data Privacy

 Have you completed these two steps?

1) Integrate your Shopify Store with our app

2) Add a Privacy Policy page to the footer of your website

How it Works

When a customer submits a data privacy request through the privacy policy page, the information will automatically appear on the Enzuzo dashboard.

 

Here are some things you should know:

 

Regulations
  • GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation):  governs how businesses can collect and process personal data for companies operating in the EU or with EU citizens.

  • CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act): governs how businesses have to protect customer's privacy, providing them with an option to see their information and opt-out of reselling their information. It applies to companies operating in California or with California citizens.

  • PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act): governs how Canadian businesses and those with Canadian customers how to collect, use and disclose personal information.

There are two tabs- Active Requests and Compliant Requests. The requests will be transferred over automatically from being Active to Compliant once they are completed. 

  • Active Requests: still being processed and need to be authenticated

  • Compliant Requests: finalized and completed (no more work needs to be done)

You can also search and filter the request depending on what you’re looking for.

Menu Buttons

There are five menu buttons. Starting from the left, Add Request, Generate Compliance Report, Download Requests Report, Settings, and Help. 


 

1. Adding a Request 

To add individual requests, click on the Add Request button. A popup form will appear where you will need to fill in the information. Once you submit the form, a new row will be added. 

  • On the Request Form, you need to input the customers' request information and their personal information.

2. Generating a Compliance Report

By clicking on the second menu button, this will open a pop-up, allowing you to select the compliance report's date range. After entering the date range, click on the Download PDF button to generate the report. 

  • The report separates the requests by regulation, providing a summary and detailed information about every request still being processed or completed already.

3. Downloading a Requests Report

Similar to the generating a compliance report, when you click on the third menu button, a pop-up will appear where you can select the report's date range. Once you've specified the timeline, click the Download PDF button to see the report. 

  • You'll be able to see all the requests customers have made.

4. Settings 

You can navigate to the settings page by clicking on the fourth button. This is where you can add & modify your store's information, enable or disable notifications and add-in tools you are currently using.

 

 

5. Help 

Whenever you need to, you can refer back to the Welcome page for instructions on how to install the app or contact us directly through our live chat.
