Regulation Compliance

  • Why do I need to be compliant?

Becoming compliant with the Data Privacy Regulations protects the privacy of your users and therefore protects the reputation of your company. More importantly, if you do not comply with these regulations you will be subject to Hefty fines. Visit our Risk Calculator to get an idea of the fines that your company could face.

  • Why do I need to automate Data Subject Requests?

Pulling the data on a user from your company's system may be feasible if done manually, but in the event that you get many requests at the same time this could grind your business to a halt. Due to the need to reply in a timely manner to all requests, automation allows you to save valuable time and resources in authentication, recording, and delivery of that request. For more information about why you should automate check out our full article here.

  • How quickly do I need to respond to a request?

Every data privacy regulation has a different rule. At this time, GDPR requires that a company respond to a user within 30 days, CCPA requires 45 days, and LGPD requires immediate response to a request on any kind of request.
